Howard Chan, CEO and founder of Kurv Investment Management, joined a segment of Yahoo! Finance with host Seana Smith to discuss his outlook on the tech sector, reflect on the year it had, and explain how investors can play options in tech in 2025. “Our thesis is that the correction is not if, but when. We think many of these tech companies are fundamentally strong, a lot of the stock appreciation this year has been backed by increase in earnings. But, since the runup in November, we think the valuation has been stretched quite a bit. We don’t think we’ll have a major correction, but the market needs to exhale a little before it can inhale again,” says Chan.
